How to Read the Tirumala Darshan Crowd Status Today
The board at the top of this page shows how long darshan is expected to take today, for each of the darshan types at Tirumala. A few things are worth knowing before you rely on it:
- Wait time is the expected time to complete darshan in that category once you join the queue. It is a range, because queues move at different speeds through the day.
- Moderate and Heavy tell you how crowded that category is, so you can tell at a glance whether today is a light day or a difficult one.
- Slot-based means the category runs on booked time slots.
- Cancelled means TTD has cancelled that darshan for today. It is not missing information — it means the category is not running.
These are estimates, not official TTD figures. They come from wait times reported by pilgrims and past patterns for the same day and hour, and the board refreshes hourly. The time it was last updated is shown on the board itself. Queues can change quickly, especially during festivals, so treat the numbers as a planning guide.
What Affects the Tirumala Darshan Crowd Status Today and Waiting Time
If the board shows a heavy day, it is usually for one of these reasons:
- Weekends, holidays and long weekends. Crowds are usually heavier on these days.
- Festivals. During Brahmotsavam and Vaikunta Ekadashi the wait can run to many hours, and TTD cancels several special darshans altogether.
- The time of day. Waits change through the day, which is why each estimate is built for a particular day and hour.
- Which darshan you choose. Sarva Darshan without a ticket usually has the longest wait. If your time is short, look at the paid and slotted options below.
Darshan Timings for Special Categories
Alongside the Tirumala darshan crowd status today, several special darshans have their own entry or reporting windows. These are the ones we have confirmed:
| Darshan | Timing |
| Parents with infants (below 1 year), infant darshan | 12 PM to 6 PM |
| Arjitha Seva ticket holders, Supadham entry | 10 AM to 7 PM |
| TTD donors, Supadham entry | 12 PM to 7 PM |
| MP or MLA recommendation letter, Supadham entry | As printed on your ticket |
| Same-day SRIVANI VIP Break Darshan | Report at 4 PM at Vaikuntam Queue Complex 1 (VQC-1) |
TTD can change these windows on festival days, and some privileged darshans are suspended entirely then. If the board above shows a category as cancelled, do not plan around its usual timing.
Which Darshan Should You Choose Today?
Read the Tirumala darshan crowd status today above first, then pick the route that suits your time and budget:
- You want it free: Time Slot Sarva Darshan (SSD). You collect a token from the counters in Tirupati the day before.
- You want a booked slot: the Rs. 300 Special Entry Darshan, booked online in advance.
- You want a much shorter wait and can afford it: SRIVANI VIP Break Darshan, Rs. 10,500 per person.
- You are a senior citizen or an NRI: see the senior citizen darshan and NRI darshan pages, since both have their own booking rules.
To know when each of these opens for booking, see our quota release dates page.
What the Tirumala Darshan Crowd Status Today Cannot Tell You
The Tirumala darshan crowd status today tells you how long darshan is expected to take. It does not tell you whether Time Slot Sarva Darshan tokens are still available, or exactly when a token counter will open.
TTD decides the counter timings each day depending on the rush, and there is no source that tells us how many tokens are left, so we do not guess. Our SSD token counters page explains the usual pattern. For anything on the day itself, the TTD helpline is 155257.

Hello sir/ma’am, We are planning to come to Tirupati on 13th Feb early morning 2am, So at what time we can get the divyadarshan or sarva darshan tickets?
