Supadham Entry in Tirumala

Tirumala welcomes millions of devotees every year, and most of them join the long queues at the Vaikuntam Queue Complex. Supadham Entry is different. It is a separate gate reserved for a few specific categories of pilgrims, and those who qualify usually complete darshan in about 1 to 2 hours instead of waiting most of the day.

You will see the name written in several ways online — Supadham, Supatham or Supadam. They all refer to the same entry at Tirumala.

The important thing to understand is that Supadham is not a ticket you can buy. You cannot book a Supadham entry on its own. You reach it by belonging to one of the four categories below.

Where Is the Supadham Entry Gate?

The Supadham Entry Gate is near Vaikuntam Queue Complex I in Tirumala, on South Mada Street, beside the main temple. It is a short walk from the Tirumala bus station and is well signposted, so ask any TTD staff member if you are unsure.

Who Can Use Supadham Entry?

Four categories qualify. Check which one applies to you before you travel, because each has a different requirement.

1. Parents with infants (below 1 year)

• Darshan token price: Free. Carry the original Aadhaar card.
• Darshan timings: 12 PM to 6 PM.

2. Arjitha Seva ticket holders

• Darshan token price: Rs. 500 per person.
• Darshan timings: 10 AM to 7 PM.
• Applies to sevas such as Kalyanotsavam, Unjal Seva, Arjitha Brahmotsavam and Sahasra Deepalankarana Seva.

If you have booked one of these sevas, the Supadham route is part of how you reach the temple on the day of your seva.

3. TTD Donors

• TTD donors receive privileges that can include Supadham entry, accommodation and darshan benefits, depending on the donation tier.
• This Supadham benefit applies if Rs. 1 lakh was donated on or before 14th July 2026, or Rs. 2 lakh on or after 15th July 2026.
• Darshan timings: 12 PM to 7 PM.
• Donors must book their tickets in advance on the official TTD website.

4. Recommendation letter from an MP or MLA

• The letter must be submitted to the JEO one day in advance, before 12 noon.
• Darshan timings: as printed on the ticket issued to you.

Turning up on the day with a letter in hand does not work. The submission deadline is the part people most often get wrong.

Supadham Entry Timings and What to Expect

Supadham Entry is not a separate darshan. It is a shorter route into the same darshan, which is why the time saved matters so much: most devotees who use it are through in about 1 to 2 hours, against a wait that can run most of the day in the general queues.

Timings are not the same for every category, so check the row that applies to you:

If you hold an MP or MLA recommendation, there is no general window — you enter at the time printed on your ticket, so check it before you set out.

A few things worth knowing before you go:

• Carry the original document your category depends on, whether that is the Aadhaar card for infant darshan or your seva ticket.
• Reach the gate in good time. Supadham Entry is faster, but it is not a way to skip a slot you have already missed.
• The usual Tirumala rules still apply inside, including the dress code and the restrictions on what you can carry into the temple.

TTD can adjust these windows during festivals and peak days, and privileged darshans are sometimes suspended altogether at those times. If you are travelling on a festival date, confirm before you go rather than assuming the usual schedule holds.

What If You Do Not Qualify?

Most pilgrims do not fall into any of the four categories, and that is normal. You still have good options:

• SRIVANI Trust break darshan — darshan in about an hour, for a donation.
• Rs. 300 Special Entry Darshan — the option most families use.
• Free SSD tokens — no cost, but you must collect a token the day before.

Before you decide, it is worth checking the live darshan waiting time, since the queue length changes a great deal from day to day.
