12 Types of Tirumala Darshan

tirumala Darshan

If you are planning a trip to Tirumala, one of the first things worth sorting out is which darshan you will go for. There is no single “Tirupati darshan” — the temple runs more than a dozen different darshan arrangements, from the completely free Sarva Darshan queue to the ₹300 special entry, seva darshans, and the premium VIP break darshan. Which one suits you depends on your budget, how much time you have, and how far ahead you are able to plan.

Here is the list of every darshan type at Tirumala, what each one costs, and how to book it — so you can pick the right one before you start your Tirupati Yatra.

Which Darshan Should You Choose?

A few simple pointers, going by what most pilgrims find works:

  • Planning Months ahead and want a shorter queue? Book the ₹300 Special Entry Darshan the day the quota opens — tickets for popular dates sell out within half an hour of release.
  • ₹300 tickets sold out? Try the ₹500 Virtual Seva quota. It is a separate pool and is sometimes available.
  • Travelling on a tight budget or deciding at the last minute? Go for free Sarva Darshan, or collect a free SSD token in Tirupati the day before for a fixed slot.
  • Walking up to Tirumala? You are eligible for free Divya Darshan.
  • Want the fastest darshan and don’t have a recommendation letter? The SRIVANI Trust donation scheme gets you VIP break darshan.

    • Sevaks for temple inside assistance will be allotted based on lucky dip. There is no direct way to serve as a Sevak inside temple. You can just register for seva in online at srivariseva.tirumala.org, usually opens on 27th of the month.
Once your slot is confirmed, you can carry that print out and report in seva sadan in tirumala, they will allow the duties randomly either in tirupati or in tirumala. There is no guarantee that you will get a chance to do service inside temple as the selection is based on a lucky dip system.

Regd. Room, we don’t have much idea about. Please contact TTD helpline on 08772233333 or TTD Donor cell on 08772263001
