Sri Paraabhava Nama Samvatsara Ugadi Asthanam will be oberved at Tirumala Srivari Temple, on 19th March 2026.

  • In honor of this festival, Suprabhatam will be first performed at 3AM and then Shuddhi will be performed.
  • At 6 O’clock in the morning Sridevi Bhudevi along with Sri Malayappaswamy and Vishvaksena will be offered a special offering. Between 7AM and 9AM they enter the temple in a procession around the vimana prakaram and the flagpole.
  • Ugadi Asthanam is conducted scientifically by Agama Pandits and priests at Bangaru Vakili.
  • Ugadi Asthanam :

    After the first bell, Sri Malayappa Swamy comes to the Golden Entrance along with His  consorts in the Sarva Bhupala Vahanam. His Commander Vishwaksena is placed on another pedestal facing south.

    There will be Panchanga Shravanam after presenting to the Lord special silk clothes, food and akshataropana (auspicious turmeric rice). All the details of Panchanga (Hindu Calendar) like tithi, vara and nakshatra besides the results for the year and other affairs related to the country and times are reported to Lord Srinivasa.

    There will be distribution of tirtha and prasada after offering neerajanam (lighted camphor) to the Lord.

  • Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam : It will be observed at the Tirumala Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple on Tuesday, March 17, in connection with the Ugadi Asthanam.
  • VIP Break Darshan Cancelled

    In view of Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam, TTD has cancelled VIP Break Darshans and the Ashtadala Pada Padmaradhana Seva on March 17. Recommendation letters for VIP Break Darshan on March 16 will not be accepted, except for protocol dignitaries.

    Similarly, on the occasion of Ugadi Asthanam on March 19, VIP Break Darshans are cancelled except for protocol dignitaries. Therefore, recommendation letters for VIP Break Darshan on March 18 will not be accepted.

  • On this occasion TTD has cancelled the sevas like Kalyanotsavam, unjalseva and Arjitha Brahmotsavams.
