Vendi vakili / Silver Door In Tirumala Temple
The door that appears with the covering of silver is called ‘Vendi vakili’ or ‘Nadimi Vakili”. At the door there are images of Mahant Babaji and Sri Venkateswara swami playing the game of dice. On the doors there will be figures of Dasavatara the ten incarnations of the Lord. The silver door in Tirumala indicates that the devotees must enter the temple with a perfect purity of heart.

There are a total of 8 door inside Tirumala Temple.
Door 1: Trushold is Kulasekara padi — just in front of the main idol
Door 2: After Sayanamantapam
Door 3: After Sri Ramulavari meda
Door 4: After Pariyeta mantapam (Bangaru Vakili)
Door 5&6: In Vendi Vakili (Silver door enclosure has 2 trusholds)
Door 7&8: In Shimadwaram (main door too has 2 trusholds)
