Shuddha Ekadashi in Dhanurmasa is called Vaikunta Ekadashi (10th Jan, 2025). At Tirumala, in the early hours of this day, the Vaikunta Dwaram (door) will be opened and will be closed after 10 days(19th Jan, 2025).

* Without tickets, you wont be allowed for darshan. You can visit tirumala, but wont be allowed in darshan queue lines if you dont have darshan ticket.

Free Darshan Tokens Issue Places In Tirupati For Vaikunta Dwara Darshan

• Free darshan (SSD) tokens for Jan 10 , 11 &12 will be issued starting from 9th January early morning 5 AM at below 9 locations continuously till the tokens are fully issued. * Due to exceptional demand for darshan tickets of vaikunta ekadashi(10th Jan) pilgrims will stand in queue lines from 8th Jan itself. Hence plan accordingly.
• Tokens for the dates Jan 13-19 , will be issued on the same day at 3 locations – srinivasam, vishnu nivasam and bhudevi complexes only.

Altogether 91 counters will be operational at the below locations.

• Protocol darshans start at 4.45 am on Vaikuntha Ekadasi day.

In 2025, two vaikunta ekadashi’s will be there.

Jan – 2025

• Ekadashi Tithi Begins – 12:22 PM on Jan 09, 2025
• Ekadashi Tithi Ends – 10:19 AM on Jan 10, 2025

Dec – 2025

• Ekadashi Tithi Begins – 07:50 AM on Dec 30, 2025
• Ekadashi Tithi Ends – 05:00 AM on Dec 31, 2025

Vaikunta Dwaram will not be opened in the whole year except during this auspicious period. So there will be huge rush observed on these days due to its importance. It is believed that those who will have Vaikunta Dwara Darshanam during Vaikunta Ekadasi at Tirumala will get Moksham. Vaikunta Dwaram is believed to be ‘Gate of Heaven’.

Eight Lakh Devotees will be provided Vaikunta Dwara Darshan during the 10 days.

Pilgrims Have to take tokens to get darshan. Without tickets pilgrims will not be allowed for vaikunta dwara darshan during Jan 10 – Jan 19.

Tirumala Vaikunta Dwaram Opening Dates In Jan 2025

• Vaikunta Dwaram will be opened from January 10th, 03:00 AM to January 19th, 11:59 PM.

• During Vaikunta Ekadashi at Tirumala, there will be procession for the well adorned Sri Malayappa Swami along with Sri Devi and Bhu Devi in the golden chariot between 9 AM to 11 AM, followed by Asthanam in Srivari temple.

  

• On Vaikunta Dwadashi day, Chakra Snanam will be performed in Swamy Pushkarini between 5:30 AM and 6:30 AM.

RTC Quota, Tour Packages, Privilege darshan’s like Infant Darshan, Senior Citizen Quota, NRI & Defense Darshan are all cancelled for these 10 days.

Tirumala Vaikunta Dwara Darshan With Free Darshan Tokens

In Tirupati, nine centers with almost 100 counters would be set up and SSD tokens will be issued to the devotees for Vaikunta Dwara Darshan. TTD will give wide publicity to the devotees on darshan updates through TTD website, SVBC etc. The devotees are requested to plan their Tirumala visit based on the availability of tokens only. Without token you cannot have darshan.

• TTD started issuing the 5 Lakh Tickets (50000 per day) continuously for all 10 days. Counters will be operating 24 hours till that 5 Lakh Tickets are issued and then they will be closed.
• Aadhar Card is mandatory to get ticket. Other ID Proofs Wont Work.
• Everyone has to stand in queue and take their ticket. Others cannot take your ticket as the ticket will be given by taking a photo of the person, same person will be allowed for darshan in tirumala.

Tirumala Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple and surroundings will be decorated with Beautiful Flowers and Lights.
