Here we can see the idol of Sri Krishnadevaraya with his wives in the posture of saluting with folded hands. However great they might be, they are the servants of Venkatapathi. This thought arises in the minds of the pilgrims. During their journey, during their temple-visit or during the seva kainkaryas if the temple officials had committed any mistake, it appears as if Sri Krishnadevaraya is asking for forgiveness on their behalf.
