The idol of Mahaganapathi appears mounting his Mouse vehicle and holding snares and goad in the upper hands and a piece of his own tusk and a Modakam (The dearest food item for him) in his two downward hands. He bestows fulfilment of all the desires of devotees.

In the morning, Sri Vinayaka is awakened with a Suprabhatam followed by Abhishekam and Archana are to the moolavarlu.
At 5.30 pm, Gramotsavam will be conducted for Sri Vinayaka Swamy on Mushika Vahanam.
