Shuddha Ekadashi in Dhanurmasa is called Vaikunta Ekadashi (30th Dec, 2025). At Tirumala, in the early hours of this day, the Vaikunta Dwaram (door) will be opened and will be closed after 10 days (8th Jan, 2026).

Vaikunta Dwaram will not be opened in the whole year except during this auspicious period. So there will be huge rush observed on these days due to its importance. It is believed that those who will have Vaikunta Dwara Darshanam during Vaikunta Ekadasi at Tirumala will get Moksham. Vaikunta Dwaram is believed to be ‘Gate of Heaven’.

Eight Lakh Devotees will be provided Vaikunta Dwara Darshan during the 10 days.

Tirumala Vaikunta Dwaram Opening Dates In Dec 2025

• Vaikunta Dwaram will be opened from December 30th, 03:00 AM to January 8th, 11:59 PM.

• During Vaikunta Ekadashi at Tirumala, there will be procession for the well adorned Sri Malayappa Swami along with Sri Devi and Bhu Devi in the golden chariot between 9 AM to 11 AM, followed by Asthanam in Srivari temple.

• On Vaikunta Dwadashi day, Chakra Snanam will be performed in Swamy Pushkarini between 5:30 AM and 6:30 AM.

Tirumala Vaikunta Dwara Darshan Tickets Update – 2025

Vaikunta Ekadashi Electronic DIP Darshan (Dec 30, 31 and  Jan 1) :

• Darshan tokens will be issued online via Electronic DIP system
• Each applicant can register for 1+3 members (self + 3 family members)
• Registration window: Nov 27, 10:00 AM to Dec 1, 5:00 PM
• Platforms: TTD Website and AP Govt WhatsApp Bot
• DIP results will be announced on Dec 2 at 2:00 PM

WhatsApp Bot Registration Steps for

1. Send “Govinda” or “Hi” to 9552300009
2. Choose language: reply with EN (English) or TE (Telugu)
3. Open the services window → Select TTD Temple Services
4. Choose Vaikunta Dwara Darshan (DIP Registration)
5. Select preferred language, enter address and PIN code
6. Choose preferred darshan dates (Dec 30, 31 or Jan 1)
7. Enter Aadhaar details, name, age, gender and mobile number
8. Submit and receive Acknowledgement Message with reference number

Note: Only one registration per Aadhaar and mobile number. Details cannot be edited after submission.

• SED and Srivani Darshan cancelled on Dec 30, 31 and Jan 1
• Offline SRIVANI tickets not issued at Tirumala or Tirupati airport during this period
• SSD tokens in Tirupati suspended from Dec 30 to Jan 8
• Special Darshans for infants, elderly, disabled, defence personnel and NRIs cancelled from Dec 30 to Jan 8
• VIP Break Darshan allowed only for protocol dignitaries who come in person; recommendation letters not accepted

• SRIVANI Darshan: 1,000 tickets/day will release on Dec 5, 10:00 AM.
• ₹300 Special Entry Darshan: 15,000 tickets/day will release on Dec 5, 3:00 PM.

• 5,000 tokens/day for locals via special application
  • Tirupati, Chandragiri, Renigunta: 4,500 tokens/day
  • Tirumala: 500 tokens/day
• Tokens released online on Dec 10
• Booking allowed in 1+3 format

Donor Darshan Booking :

• Donors who contributed ₹1 crore or more: 125 persons/day from Dec 30 to Jan 8
• Donors who contributed ₹1 lakh to ₹99 lakh:
  • Dec 30, 31: 1000 persons/day
  • Jan 1–8: 2000 persons/day
• Tickets released online on Dec 5 at 10:00 AM.
