Shuddha Ekadashi in Dhanurmasa is called Vaikunta Ekadashi (30th Dec, 2025). At Tirumala, in the early hours of this day, the Vaikunta Dwaram (door) will be opened and will be closed after 10 days (8th Jan, 2026).
Vaikunta Dwaram will not be opened in the whole year except during this auspicious period. So there will be huge rush observed on these days due to its importance. It is believed that those who will have Vaikunta Dwara Darshanam during Vaikunta Ekadasi at Tirumala will get Moksham. Vaikunta Dwaram is believed to be ‘Gate of Heaven’.
Eight Lakh Devotees will be provided Vaikunta Dwara Darshan during the 10 days.
Pilgrims Have to take tokens to get darshan. Without tickets pilgrims will not be allowed for vaikunta dwara darshan during Dec 30 – Jan 8.
During Vaikunta Ekadashi at Tirumala, there will be procession for the well adorned Sri Malayappa Swami along with Sri Devi and Bhu Devi in the golden chariot between 9 AM to 11 AM, followed by Asthanam in Srivari temple.

Only 4 options are there to avail Vaikunta Dwara Darshan
RTC Quota, Tour Packages, Privilege darshan’s like Infant Darshan, Senior Citizen Quota, NRI & Defense Darshan are all cancelled for these 10 days.
In Tirupati, nine centers with almost 100 counters would be set up and SSD tokens will be issued to the devotees for Vaikunta Dwara Darshan. TTD will give wide publicity to the devotees on darshan updates through TTD website, SVBC etc. The devotees are requested to plan their Tirumala visit based on the availability of tokens only. Without token you cannot have darshan.
