Sanghi Temple

Sanghi Temple Hyderabad is located in Sanghi Nagar, which is approximately 30 km away from the main city of Hyderabad. As the name suggests, the Temple was constructed by leading industrial group of South India- Sanghi Group. The temple was built in the year 1991 and it got completed in just 18 months.

The Temple stands on a hillock ‘Paramanand Giri’. The style in which this temple was built is Chola- Chalukya style of architecture. Sanghi Temple is one of the popular tourist places of Hyderabad. It is also very famous location used in many Telugu films and this could be one of the reasons for its increase in popularity.

Sanghi Temple is dedicated to Lord Venkateshwara. The idol of Lord Venkateshwara in this temple is said to be the replica of Lord Venkateshawara of Tirupati. There are other Hindu shrines in the temple along with the main deity of Venkateshwara namely Padamavati, Hanuman, Ganesha, Kartikeya, Durga, Sri Rama. The Navagraha deities are also there inside the complex of the temple.

There is this special place called ‘Pavitra Vanam’ or ‘Holy Garden’ in the temple complex. In the Pavitra vanam special flowers and leaves are grown only for performing puja in the temple. The complex of Sanghi Temple also consists of Kalyana Mandapam for the Kalyanostavam and to perform other auspicious activities and marriages. The huge complex of the temple offers space for the visitors to sit at leisure and enjoy the outer view from the temple.
