Vedadri Temple

This temple is right on the banks of the Krishna. Here Lord Narasimha is in Yoga mudra, hence called Yoga Narasimha. In addition to the main deity, the Lord exists in five different forms known as Pancha Narashima Moorthy, namely 1.Jwala Narashima on vedasikara of the mountains. 2.Saligrahma Narashima in the River Krishnaveni, 3.Yogananda Narashima installed by sage Rishya Sringar, 4.Lakshmi Narashima on his own peetam and 5.Veera Narashimar on garudadri situated at a distance of 5 km from east to Vedadri.

How to reach Vedadri Temple:

By Road-

The temple can be reached from the Hyderabad – vijayawada highway via Jaggayyapet(15km) and 10kms from Chillakallu.

By Train-

The nearest railway station to the vedadri temple is ‘Madhira’ which is approximately 35kms from temple.

By Air-

The nearest Airport is Vijayawada which is approximately 95kms from temple.
