Pournami Garuda Seva
Sravana Pournami Garuda Seva will be observed on 19th August at Tirumala Srivari temple.
In connection with this fete, Sri Malayappa Swamy will take a celestial ride on Garuda Vahanam between 7pm and 9pm to bless His devotees.

Vikhanasa Mahamuni Jayanti
Vikhanasa Maharshi Jayanthi will be held on the day of Shravana Pournami (19th August) every year. The next day, Lord Srinivasa along with Goddess Sridevi and Bhudevi will grace the Sannidhi of his ardent bhakta located on North Mada Street in Tirumala and after receiving the honours of Talige (Prasadam) and Harati will return to Tirumala temple. All the rituals are being done in Tirumala according to Vaikhanasa tradition.
Hayagreeva Jayanthi
Hayagreeva Jayanthi will be held on the day of Sravana Pournami (19th August) every year.
Hayagreeva Temple in Tirumala is located in North Mada Street.
Sri Hayagreeva Swamy is for Good education and knowledge to the children. He is one of the Avatar of Lord Maha Vishnu. Hayagreeva is represented as horse-headed deity with the human body.
As stated in Puranas, the demons Madhu-Kaitabha stole the Vedas from Brahma, to protect Vedas, Maha Vishnu took the Hayagreeva Avatar and killed the demons to recover Vedas.
