Sri Kariya Manikya Swamy Temple

Sri Kariya Manikya Swamy, ancient temple is also called Sri Perumala Swamy temple and is located in Nagiri. It is believed that Lord Sri Maha Vishnu killed Makara (a crocodile) and saved Gajendra (an elephant) at this place. This episode is referred as Gajendra Moksham in the Bhagavatam.

The presiding deity is Kariyamanikya Swamy with his consorts Sri Devi and Bhu Devi. This Temple is maintained by TTD.

Morning: 5:30AM to 12:30AM
Evening: 4PM to 8:30PM

Nagari is in the Border of Andhra Pradesh and Tamilnadu. Buses frequency is high from chennai and Tirupati. Nagari is located at 51Kms from Tirupati Bus stand.
