As part of the Sri Kapileswara Swami Brahmotsavam in Tirupati, the Maha Shivaratri festival will be celebrated grandly on 15th February 2026 . Special arrangements like queue lines, shelters and parking areas have been set up to accommodate the crowd.

Events Schedule for Maha Shivaratri at Kapila Theertham:

2:00 AM – 4:30 AM: Ekadasa Rudrabhishekam on Maha Shivaratri
7:00 AM – 9:00 AM: Rathotsavam
11:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Snapana Tirumanjanam for the deities
6:00 PM – 10:00 PM: Nandi Vahanam

Darshan Timings on Shivaratri:

6:00 AM – 2:00 PM: Sarva Darshan
4:30 PM – 12:00 AM: Sarva Darshan
12:00 AM – 4:00 AM (February 16): Lingodbhava Kala Abhishekam

Additionally, the Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad, SV Music and Dance College will conduct devotional music and cultural programs.

Shivaparvathi Kalyanam:

As part of the Sri Kapileswara Swami Brahmotsavam, the grand Shivaparvathi Kalyanam will take place on the day after Maha Shivaratri, 16th Feb, evening from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM.
