On October 31 2024, Tirumala temple will traditionally celebrate Diwali. Diwali celebrations at Tirumala will be held from 7 AM to 9 AM in the Ghanta Mandapam in front of the golden door.
Diwali Asthanam:
Sri Malayappa Swamy, along with His consorts, will be placed facing Garudalwar in the Sarvabhoopala Vahanam in the Ghanta Mandapam.
Sri Vishwaksenulavaru, the commander-in-chief, will also be placed on another seat to the left of the Lord, facing south.
Special rituals, including prayers, offerings and Harathi will be performed by the priests.

Evening Procession:
At 5 PM, Sri Malayappa Swamy, along with Sri Devi and Bhu Devi, will participate in the Sahasra Deepalankarana Seva and bless devotees while moving through the four mada streets.
Sevas Cancellations:
Due to Diwali Asthanam, some sevas like Tiruppavada, Kalyanotsavam, Unjal Seva, and Arjitha Brahmotsavam will be canceled on October 31.
Tomala and Archana sevas will be conducted in private.
